ERA Theatrical Productions
ERA was founded in 2022 and strives to produce, create and champion work by female, non-binary and queer artists to broaden representation on and off-stage.
In 2022, the creative team of an original sell-out Edinburgh Fringe show, One Week In Magaluf, decided they simply had to return the following year with an extended run of the same show. One Week In Magaluf returned to Edinburgh in 2023 under the company ERA Theatrical Productions for a second sell-out run of 15 shows!
After the show closed at the fringe, Rachel Duncan took the reins as the sole producer of the company. ERA returned to Edinburgh Fringe in 2025 with Frozen Love: A Buckingham Nicks Story, which was later nominated for an OFFEST Award with The OFFIES. Since summer 2025, ERA has broadened its portfolio to include Apparently Ugly as well as Doughnut Drive which recently won BEST COMEDY with the ETTIE Awards, was nominated for 4 Fringe Theatre Awards (for Production, Directing, Writing and Duo Performance in a Play) and has been nominated for a Standing Ovation award with London Pub Theatres.
